SEND

At Chaulden we pride ourselves on working closely with families who have children that have a Special Educational Need and/or Disability.  We hope that Parents and Carers feel supported and that their children feel included in all areas of the curriculum.  We like to work closely with families to make sure children have all their needs met and that reasonable adjustments are made to ensure that children make good progress and are being prepared for future learning and adventures.

If you need to discuss your child's learning and any possible Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, Mrs L Courtney is the SENDCo and can be contacted via the office on 01442 264588 or email via admin@chauldeninfants.herts.sch.uk

Chaulden Junior School SEND Report

At Chaulden Junior School all class teachers plan their lessons to match the needs of the pupils in their class. The teachers continually assess how all pupils are meeting their learning objectives and adjusting their planning to suit their needs.

As a school we operate an open door policy and would be more than happy to talk about any concerns you may have with your child’s learning.  The class teacher together with the school SENCo can talk though any of your concerns as and when they arise.   If you wish to raise a complaint about a SEN issue, please see our complaints policy here
