Chaulden Junior School is a school for children between the ages of 7 and 11 years. We are an ambitious and forward looking school which aims to make a real difference to the children who come here. We work in partnership with parents and the local community to provide a range of services and support.
The children have written their own Golden Rule which makes sure that Chaulden is a happy place in which to learn and play: "We treat everyone as we would like to be treated by showing respect for all. We are determined to be the best that we can be!"
Our weekly newsletter is sent home with every child on a Friday. It details everything that's going on in the forthcoming week and is a must read for all parents and children.
In case of severe weather, please visit www.hertsdirect.org.uk and click on the severe weather/school closures tab.
We aim to communicate with all parents, carers, governors and other interested parties in as many ways as we can. While paper copies of letters do come home with the oldest sibling in every family, by signing up to the Schoolcomms messaging service, the school office can get urgent messages, as well as letters to you by text or email. Please see Mrs Chase in the office for more information, and remember to update your details if your change your phone number!
