We operate a ‘cafeteria style’ school meals service where the children are offered a selection of hot and cold food. A vegetarian option is always offered.
Payment for meals should be made via Gateway. Cash and cheques are not accepted. If you receive income support, your children are entitled to free meals. Information on how to apply may be obtained from the school secretary. Please ask at the School Office about how to access Gateway.
The alternative to a school meal is a packed lunch. Lunches should be brought in a named lunch box with any cutlery your child needs. Water is available. Please do not send in any glass ‘Thermos’ flasks, glass bottles or cans of any kind.
We operate a no nut policy. Many schools and workplaces have staff members and pupils with life threatening allergies. This includes chocolate spreads like nutella and cereal bars containing nuts.
We encourage children to bring a healthy snack (fresh or dried fruit or vegetables) for break time.
Named school water bottles are provided for use in class. These are kept in school and are disinfected daily.
