Parents are the school's most important partners in the education of children. The value of sharing experiences, talking and learning together with children cannot be overemphasised.
The amount of work set to be learnt at home increases as children progress through school to prepare them for homework at secondary school. Children will usually bring home activities to support their learning in English and Maths.
To support children who find it difficult to work at home we run a weekly homework club. This operates on a drop-in basis so that children can access the help when they need it. In addition, we operate a home/school reading scheme which involves your child bringing home a book to read to you on a daily basis.
